Cultural Transitions’ founder and CEO, Sanaz Amidi, was invited to design and lead a participatory workshop for cultural leaders at Culture Summit Abu Dhabi 2025.
The Journey of Our Holistic Wellbeing explored the relationship between personal wellbeing, professional practice and sustainable leadership. The session responded to challenges familiar across the cultural sector, including burnout, isolation and the difficulty of maintaining balance while leading organisations and supporting others.
The session was adapted from a longer leadership-retreat methodology developed by Sanaz. It demonstrated how coaching, creative practice and structured reflection can help cultural leaders work with greater awareness and make choices that support both their own wellbeing and the people and organisations they lead.
